This is our newest formula, which is the twin sister of our original formula.  It is true to our core values of PLANT BASED, CLEAN FORMULATION, LUSH LUXURIOUS FEEL TO THE SKIN, and fancy grade ingredients.  There are only a few differences.  It's a little bit more expensive, and it contains water as the first ingredient.  However, as far as the feel, and benefit to the skin it's identical in it's properties.  The most important difference is that the Body Butter with Tucuma Butter is always available, and you won't have to pre-order it.  This is good for gift giving, or for travel (when you need it right away).

Why two formulations? Well with a name like Skin Like Butter, you always have to have body butter.  Also, our body butter is the most popular product we have, and a principal part of our brand.  However, we've learned the lesson of 2020 lockdowns.  Things can happen beyond your control. One of the things that has happened since the 2020 lockdowns is that our original body butter production parter that we've had for almost 20 years is now VERY VERY SLOW, and has horrible communication practices. Since it's so popular, and the production partner is so slow it was usually out of stock or had long unknown wait periods. To fix that THE ORIGINAL FORMULA is now only available on scheduled pre-orders in the most popular sizes- 8oz and 16oz.  This works great unless you need a QUICK GIFT, you want to order for a trip, you have an event for group gifts, or you just want a smaller size.   So going forward we will always have the ORIGINAL FORMULA available in 2 sizes with pre-order, and the NEW TWIN FORMULA available in all sizes ready to ship in 3-5 business days.

Just a note- since this is not our main formulation, and is not as popular, the new formula serves as a backup (kind of like a spare if you will) to the original and is always in limited supply.
