If Howard Carter had discovered King Tut's signature scent along with all of the other priceless treasures excavated from his tomb there is a strong possibility it would have smelled exactly like NILE.  Like all of the scents in the CASTLES AND RUINS collection NILE transports you to a different time and space.  Nile is old. Not just ancient but old. Meaning with history, stories told, a feeling of stately reverence old.  Now that we have that established it's also regal and old.  The reason why it's not called Egyptian Musk (aside from the fact that that is way too pedestrian) is that although it is there the musk is very complex. It works like an aged dusty papyrus that this beautiful scent is written on. It starts with this scent of aged crushed dates marinated in spices of tumeric, cinnamon, and resins of sandalwood for about 1,000 years. Then as you discover it the scent of the mahogany box wafts in the air as a tiny tinge of metallic from the golden challis it's been  sitting in all this time gives it that beautiful finishing touch.  This, like Bodleian, is something you really have to smell.  Also, this like everything else in Castles and Ruins, is not for everyone.
