We have been making body butter for almost 20 years. That was way back when no one knew what body butter was. We started at a farmers' market in beautiful Alamitos Bay Marina in Long Beach, California. That is the what. Here is the why. One day my dad served me a big bucket of guilt and said, "You know you are always conjuring up stuff", and he grabbed his horrific diabetic skin and said, "why don't you conjure up something for me." The thought never crossed my mind because like everyone else at the time I thought the prescription he had would be much more effective than anything I could conjure up. Full disclosure it might have been, but he would never use his skn prescription because he didn't like the way it smelled. So, like any dutiful daughter I took to the internet and did some research and well I don't want to get in trouble here on Shopify so I'm not going to go into detail because I'm not giving medical advice. However, he used what I conjured up because it smelled really good, and that is how Skin Like Butter got started almost 20 years ago. The important bit to our story is we make body butter that smells really really good, and treats your skin really really good.
