Last but not least. In fact very very important. Open, read, and save your order confirmation emails. I used to always send them, but I've stopped because they are very time consuming and quite frankly lengthy. Both elements are fine, and very valuable BUT not if they aren't read. Here is why they are important.
- SHOPIFY doesn't have a "processing" toggle. If it does, I don't know where it is. Etsy did and it was indispensable. The reason why that "processing" is so necessary is that you have to print the label in order to get the tracking. There is a lot that happens (double checking, packing, etc so the label is usually post-dated., but i notify you immediately via Shopify and the order is marked fulfilled, but what I would like to do is let you know EXACTLY when it will be shipping.
- Your order confirmation email not only has the tracking, but it has the private THANK YOU coupon code that only goes to customers
- It will also have important information about your order if necessary
- This is the really cool time saver and money saver. The email also serves as a custom website just for you of your favorites that you order all of the time, as well as private custom coupon codes that are tailored to match and compliment your scents, products, and RSVP points.
- When sending gifts this is also extremely important because you can see the gift, or gift basket as its packed and the sentiment on the gift card.
